|We are Nara Student Guide|
Nara Student Guide was organized in order to help tourists from overseas in 1964.The organization celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2014, and its office is in Nara Tabi center, the information center on Sanjo Street. Nara Student Guide (NSG) is registered as Goodwill Guide of JNTO (Japan National Tourism Organization).
People form NSG will guide tourists who visit Nara, every day except for New Year holidays.
The number of the guides per a year is about 500.
|We are volunteer guide|
We guide you without any compensation because we are volunteer group.
Our goal is to make you time more enriching by our guide and talking.
On the day of your tour, your guide will meet you up to JR Nara station, Kintetsu Nara station, your hotel or wherever you want.
Anytime between 10:00AM to 5:15PM

○Kohukuji-temple : free
○Yoshikien : free
○Isuien and museum : 900yen
○Daibutsu Den(Todaiji-temple) : 600yen
○Kasuga shrine main hall : 500yen
※We have a free pass. So you don’t need to pay our entrance fee.

We hold study meetings once a month. All members attend the meetings to improve their knowledges about Japanese culture, temple, shrines, and so on.
