Hello, I am Yuko.
Today, I had a tour with three Italians. We went to Todaiji temple, Kasuga shrine, and Kohukuzi temple. And then,
we had a lunch together. They ate eel. Japanese eat “Unaju” which is a kind of eel dishes in August. This is because we believe that eel gives us the strength to combat the heat of summer season. “Unaju” is a dish that the eel is sliced open, brushed with a salty and sweet sauce, broiled and finally put it on a hot rice. It is really hot and humid now in Japan, but you can eat eel to regain energy and it is really good!! You should try it:)

今日はイタリア人3名をガイドしました。東大寺、春日大社、そして興福寺に行きました。その後ランチにウナギを食べました。夏のような暑い日でしたがウナギの力で夏バテ防止しましょう!
”Unaju” is like this one!
